Saint-Paul-de-Vence is a timeless village perched on a hilltop. Walking through the village, you’ll encounter narrow, winding streets, beautifully restored stone houses, fountains, and cozy squares.

The place was progressively fortified from the 14th to the 17th century, and these fortifications still stand today, surrounding the village, where you can walk along them.

Starting in the early 20th century, the village gradually became a cultural and artistic hub, attracting famous artists and writers from France and abroad. And this continue to this day.

Located outside the village, the Maeght Foundation is an amazing modern art space that opened in 1964 with the help of famous artists like Miró, Braque, and Giacometti. It was created as a place where art, architecture, and nature could come together in harmony.

Highlights include Giacometti’s striking sculptures that welcome visitors at the entrance and Miró’s playful labyrinth in the garden. The building itself, designed by Josep Lluís Sert, fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape.

Inside, you’ll discover works by Kandinsky, Léger, Chagall, and other famous modern and contemporary artists.
