Driving licence
It is accepted if it is written in the Latin alphabet.
If not, it must be accompanied by an international driving licence or an official translation.
In all cases, the licence must be valid.
Please note that sometimes a minimum age for the driver may be required in order to rent a vehicle.
Non-Schengen passport
It must be valid for at least 3 months after the date of exit from the Schengen area.
