On the 1st day, visit Arles with the Arena and the Ancient Theatre of Arles which date back to Roman times. In the afternoon, another setting in the Village of Baux-de-Provence which is located on a rocky plateau overlooking the countryside below. Then you can watch a light show in the stone quarries next door. To finish, take a short walk on the surrounding paths to get a bird’s eye view of the village and the landscape.

On day 2, the first stop on the road is for a photo opportunity in the Village of Gordes and the landscape below. Before or after lunch, short hike in the Colorado de Rustrel on the ochre lands surrounded by trees. In the late afternoon, arrival at the Village of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie located above the Verdon Gorge.

On the 3rd day, disover the Verdon Gorge with a morning hike (a choice between 2 possible itineraries: one easy and one difficult). After lunch, two photo stops in another part of the gorge from the two most spectacular viewpoints of the canyon which is the largest in Europe. Night in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie (2/2)
On the 4th day, head for the coast to visit the City of Marseille: the Old Port, the Panier district with the Cathedral of La Major and the Notre Dame de la Garde Basilica located high up and offering a view of the city.

The 5th day, hike over the rocky inlets of the beautiful Calanques de Cassis.

On the 6th day, another morning hike on the Cliffs of Cassis along the ridge facing the Calanques seen the day before. After lunch, visit the charming Village of Bormes-les-Mimosas. Then continue along the coast to Cannes.

The 7th day is spent off the coast of Cannes on the small Island of Saint-Honorat, inhabited by monks. Late afternoon in Cannes.

On day 8, continue eastwards to visit the City Centre of Nice and its Hill.

On the 9th day, visit the Village of Eze and its Botanical Garden overlooking the sea. After lunch, drive to the colourful City of Menton on the Italian border.
